Captain Larry Lienczewski is a U.S.C.G. licensed; Master of Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 50 gross registered tons upon Great Lakes and Inland Waters; also, authorized to engage in commercial assistance towing.

He is American Red Cross first aid and American Heart Association C.P.R./A.E.D. certification. He is a officer of The Michigan Charter Boat Association and a member of N.A.C.O.
Master of the single screw North Star a 51′ tour and charter boat for Charity Island Transport from the port AuGres, MI. Past captain of Mar La’s Joy, a 29′ Tiara Yacht hailing Oscoda Harbor, MI for 16 years until its sale in the spring of 2005. With boats ranging from 22′ to 65′ Capt. Larry has traveled the Great Lakes for the past 40 plus years.
Capt. Lienczewski recruits crew with great experience of their own to assist him on deliveries. This makes Great Lakes Yacht Deliveries a highly professional organization.
Born and raised in Saginaw, MI, Captain Larry has had a lifelong love affair for the Great Lakes. In the summer of 1986 Larry started commercial fishing as a charter captain. His experiences in commercial fishing span nineteen years and took him from Port Huron, MI to Chicago, IL.
As the fishing industry became more and more challenged as fishing stocks dwindled, Larry decided to put his creative art background to work and opened a small business as a graphic web designer, webmaster. However Captain Larry has always maintained his passion for the Great Lakes and became captain of one of Charity Island Transport yachts, Scout Inc.: Bay Marine Salvage (TowBoat U.S.) that then became the catalyst for his present business, Great Lakes Yacht Deliveries. In total he has spent forty-plus years on the water and in the boating community. Larry is professional, intelligent, mature and experienced.
Larry is a non-smoker and non-drinker and you can count on him being fully capable at all times when taking charge of your boat. He looks forward to being of assistance to you and/or your customers.
